Identifying an Infestation
- Bed bug bites are the easiest way to find out if there is an infestation.
- Bites will be grouped and very red
- Bites will itch, but be sure to keep from itching them, or they will spread and worsen

- Carpets
- Blood Strains on Sheets

- Check for dead bugs in all of the previous places. Finding dead bed bugs is the first sign that they are actually present.

- Female bed bugs can lay up to 5 eggs a day and 500 eggs during a life time.
- Untreated one bed bug can turn into 32,000 bugs in just 6 months.
- Bed Bugs can hide in cracks, crevices, and behind baseboards and molding. This can make them difficult to detect.
- Treatments should include encasements for mattresses and box springs, heat, interceptors / climb ups on furniture legs, and non-toxic insecticides.
